My name is Woo-Hyun (nicholas) An. I’m 16 years old, and i’m from Seoul, Korea. Seoul has many aspects of its own history. For example, a palace named, “Kyeong Bok Goong” shows the buildings in Cho Sun dynasty period. Also a big river named, ‘Han Gang’ represents the development of Korea in modern history. My bobbies are watching movies and playing the piano. I like to watch movies because I can see how diverse people live and most of all, I want to be a movie director. However, I have stopped playing the piano for a while. My favorite subjects are history and literature. I want to make historic films and literature will help me writing my own impressive movie scenarios.

I like to play basketball,play the drums,go shopping,take pictures and travel.I am a out going girl.Therefore,I like to get along with people and approach nature.Actually,I don’t have my favorite subject indeed.All of them interests me.I like Science, because of doing experiments. I can observe variations.Taiwan has aspects of its own history.For instance,Taiwan also called “Ila Formosa” because Portugueses discovered it and thought it is a beautiful island.There is a fort located in Tainan.It calls “Zeelandia”.When the army of Holland occupied Taiwan,they built it.

My name is Jake Arthur. I am 15 years old. I was born in Leicester, Massachusetts. George Washington stayed in Leicester at one time. Also, in the 19th century, Pliny Earle built the first carding machine. I like to play the drums and the guitar. I have been drumming for about 5 years and have been playing guitar for about 2. 2. Nancy when was zeelandia built? I am very interested because my dad was born in holland and i have family members who live there. Are there any other things in taiwan that have a connection with holland? Are there any people who speak dutch in taiwan?
